Mozar Ross brings global legal experience spanning multiple continents and prestigious judicial law clerkship experience to Sul Lee Law PLLC. He serves as an Associate Attorney representing businesses of all sizes throughout Texas, the United States, and internationally. Mozar has extensive experience across a wide range of dispute-resolution venues, including domestic and international arbitrations administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), as well as litigation in state and federal courts. Having served as a United States federal judicial law clerk, Mozar offers clients a unique understanding of judicial processes and decision-making.
Mozar studied History and Spanish at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where he played football. His military and athletic experiences at The Citadel instilled in him effective leadership, discipline, and attention to detail that he brings to his legal practice. His competitive athletic background inspired his legal career to zealously advocate for his clients’ best interests. He received his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and a Master of Laws in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Mozar participated in moot court and was a federal judicial intern to the Honorable Susan G. Braden (Ret.) on the United States Court of Federal Claims and to the Honorable Richard Gergel on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
To develop fundamental legal skills of writing, analysis, and advocacy, Mozar began his career serving as a judicial law clerk on the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the Supreme Court of South Carolina, and on United States federal courts where he assisted the Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger in adjudicating district court cases as well as Eleventh Circuit appeals. In private practice, before joining Sul Lee Law Firm PLLC, he practiced at international law firms in New York City and Dubai, representing clients in complex commercial disputes before state and federal courts and in international arbitration proceedings.
Mozar brings a global perspective and deep dispute resolution experience to Sul Lee Law Firm PLLC’s litigation and arbitration practice. Leveraging his United States federal judicial clerkship and his education as well as experience in international arbitration, he helps clients navigate sophisticated commercial disputes with precision and strategic foresight. His contributions are particularly valuable in resolving cross-border business conflicts before courts as well as international tribunals.
