David Urman

David Urman is a seasoned attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, business transactions, and company financing. David has represented sellers and buyers in over 40 mergers and acquisitions over the course of his career.

Representative transactions include sale of an asset sale of a national $300 million furniture retailer, the sale of a $120 million car wash manufacturer, financing and exit of a healthcare SAAS company, the sale of a vertically integrated major farm and consumer products manufacturer, a stock sale of a Canadian manufacturer of dietary supplements to a US buyer, the sale of a $140 million consumer products brand to a strategic, and many others. At the firm, David has represented primarily sellers in connection with strategic transactions in multiple industries, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and real property.

He graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law with high honors and clerked for Judge Procter Hug, Jr. at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. With extensive experience in the consumer products industry, David has worked with rapidly growing manufacturers and brands, serving as lead counsel in multiple mergers, providing him with a unique perspective on the business landscape. His background allows him to navigate the complexities of corporate law while ensuring that his clients’ interests are prioritized.

Outside of his professional endeavors, David enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, writing, and running. The running part is more out of duty than pleasure.
